LOCALS got a glimpse of Vera as new scenes for the hit, crime drama were filmed in Stocksfield yesterday (August 11).
Cast and crew descended on the village as filming got underway for the new series, scheduled to air in 2023.
The train station, New Ridley Road and Guessburn were all used as filming locations.

The popular programme also filmed at Hesleyside Hall near Bellingham from Friday to Wednesday.
