HUNDREDS of people visited events ran by The Dock Museum and The Forum in Barrow.
On Thursday Professor Pumpernickel performed his 30-minute show that involves science experiments from the materials in his cart at the museum.
The Dock Museum described him as: "If you like fire, explosions, loads of mess and mind-bending magic you'll love Pumpernickel."
He performed in the round with kids and adults enjoying his show in the sunshine.
Afterwards, a violinist from Lake District Summer Music played in front of the Clyde Hopkins Exhibition.
The exhibition displays his panhandle painting, which is open until August 28.
It is a busy period for the Dock Museum. On August 8 they will be hosting singer Gary Bridgens and on August 8 they will have a Cumbria Wildlife craft workshop.
