BARROVIANS have expressed their glee after a popular Chinese buffet restaurant announced it will welcome dine in customers once again.

The owners of Panda Garden, in Duke Street, Barrow, revealed on Wednesday night (August 3) that the restaurant will reopen for hungry dine in patrons from Monday, August 15.

The restaurant has only been open for deliveries and takeaways.

But after huge demand from customers, Panda Garden’s bosses decided to welcome customers back through its doors to dine.

Bosses said they are now taking bookings.

In a statement they said: "We're back.

"As requested by many of our restaurant customers, we have made the decision to reopen our restaurant again for dine in on the 15th of August!

"We'll be open for bookings from today onwards and you may place your table bookings through calling 01229871222."

Residents reacted happily to the news.

Christine Fell said: “Hope they do the buffet it was lovely.”
