A FREELANCE Illustrator is taking a short break over August.
Sarah Jane Docker is an artist from Barrow that does children's illustration work, doing commissioned drawings for books and media.
Her clients include international authors and bespoke artwork for private clients.
The former UCLan student started getting commissions for children's books back in November last year.
Her life changed after her grandad died, leaving her with some money to purchase an iPad and become a full-time artist.
On her website, it says that much of her work is 'inspired by nature, the idea of seeing life through new eyes each day, and memories and jokes from childhood.'
She works in both digital and traditional media to create her work.
One of her latest drawings is a postcard she created for Be Ready Explorers, which submits monthly letters and stories to children in the US.
