A MAN was arrested in connection with a series of thefts from vehicles in Barrow.
Cumbria Police is investigating the thefts, which occurred at around 8am on Friday, July 29.
According to police, a man was trying door handles and boots at the large car park at the rear of the town’s Cameron Street.
A 38-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident and has since been released under investigation.
A force spokesman said: “Officers are trying to identify the owners of the items located.
“Please contact police on 101 quoting reference 31 of July 29 if you were parked at the rear of Cameron Street or on St Patrick's Road, Barrow on the morning of Friday, July 29 and wish to report any items stolen from within your vehicle.”
