A KNITWEAR company in Ulverston is opening its workshop doors to the public.
This is so that people can see how clothing is made locally in the town and the machinery running.
It is particularly for children interested in textiles to see how everything works.
It is a free open workshop with 'plenty of parking outside' and will happen from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm today and tomorrow.
OUBAS is named after Oubas Hill. It was founded in 2012 by 24-year-old Kate Stalker. It designs and develops knitwear in traditional hand-flat machines.
The new knitting studio was opened in Ulverston last year.
Kate Stalker describes OUBAS's products as 'technically minded and detail-obsessed, quality craftsmanship and pure natural fibres are key to our ethos.'
OUBAS offers products such as a poncho, a British wool sweater, an organic cotton cable jumper, a cotton vest top, a cotton easy tee and a Donegal merino sweater.
