Barrow AFC had a unique method of introducing their new signing on social media.
The club announced new winger Ben Whitfield, signed from Stockport, with a video parodying Love Island's use of texts for communication, hashtags, and even slow-moving glamour shots.

The Yorkshireman spent time at Torquay United in 2019/20 and 2020/21, netting 13 times in 65 appearances from the wing for The Gulls.
Stockport County snapped up his services last term, but an injury to his metatarsal cut the title-winning season short for the pacy forward.
Whitfield now joins Barrow and has chosen to wear the Number 34 shirt.
