THE Cartmel Show is one of the most anticipated events of the year and we are looking back over thirty years in the past for the best moments.
Twenty five years ago, a four-year-old Zoe Marshall, of Barrow, won a first prize in the best bunny event with this lovely white rabbit.
John Battersby of Scales Farm, won the Supreme Champion of the show in 1995 with "Twizzlefoot Conquest Vall" a two-year-old milking heifer from the Dalegarth herd.
In 1993 we captured this great photo of a young Michael Dobson, of Crossthwaite, after a successful day in the cattle section. The magnificent Tetley Walker's Shire Horses William and Star were exhibited by Jane Richards and Fred Sharpe in 1995.
Jennifer Snell and Moyra Towers were second with pony Ainsty Fairgame in the Private Driving in 1994.
