CUMBRIA County Council have announced to launch of their program offering an Early Years L3 SENCO award.
The scheme has been set up to offer setting practitioners a chance to undertake the qualification.
The Council announced: "We are pleased to be able to share with you that we are offering setting practitioners the opportunity to undertake and achieve an Early Years L3 SENCO award.
"Cumbria has been very fortunate in the last two years that 72 setting SENCOs have achieved this accredited award.
"The programme will be delivered through a blended approach beginning in the autumn term.
"You will have received a letter with the outline of the course programme and the expression of interest from CFIS at the beginning of this week.
"Please can completed expressions of interest be returned to ann.breeze@cumbria.gov.uk no later than Friday 8th July.
"You will be notified shortly after this date if your application has been successful."
