Steve said: "Popped in on Sunday with a couple mates and the food was delicious. We had 3 roast dinners that were really good and very well priced. I think you would struggle to find a better roast anywhere. Staff very friendly too."

  • The Stan Laurel Inn

Ulverston's ironically named inn, after two of Britain's most famous comic duo, the Inn is highly rated for its service and food.

Good for local cuisine, bar service, British pub food, Vegetarian Friendly and Gluten Free Options.

The Duke offers a large beer garden with seating and heating, as well as a variety of drinks and food options.

One reviewer said: "My son and I called in for lunch today and really like how the place looks. Our meals were tasty and well cooked. There was also a good selection of real ales on the bar and the barman was friendly and looked after us well."
