BARROW Raiders forward Tom Hopkins stepped onto the pitch as an international player for the first time on Saturday after being selected to play for Wales.
29-year-old Hopkins was selected by Wales head coach John Kaer for their 34-10 defeat against France in a test match played in Albi.
The match was the first time that Wales had played a game of Rugby League in over 1,300 days, the long period of inactivity caused largely by the Covid pandemic.
