A POPULAR Ulverston pub is closed today after they were left 'pretty much out of beer'.

In a post on Facebook, the Gather Beerhouse said: "Yesterday was pretty wild, I adore Another Fine Fest and what it brings to Ulverston. It was such a great day.

"We got absolutely slammed and unfortunately find ourselves pretty much out of beer. Being such a small venue there is only so much space in our cold store and we almost went through all our stock yesterday.

"I'm afraid we're going to be closed today and will be back open on Tuesday.

"Another Fine Fest continues today though, so make sure to head into town for more great acts."
