SIMON FELL has responded to rumours of 'a planned closure of Ulverston ticket office'.
On Twitter, Simon Fell MP said he has been in contact with Northern and can confirm that the ticket office will not be closing.
Simon Fell MP said: "A few people have contacted me about rumours of a planned closure of Ulverston ticket office.
"I've been on to Northern and can confirm that this is NOT happening. Removing staff would mean the station being inaccessible for those with mobility issues - so it is not on the table."
