A Smiths tribute act is playing in Barrow tonight at the Odd Frog.
The Smiths United, a band from Lincoln, will be playing hits such as This Charming Man, Hand in Glove, and Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now.
Tickets are free for members, £10 in advance and £15 on the door.
The Smiths were an indie-rock band from Manchester that broke up in 1987 after only four albums. They have had a lasting influence on indie-rock music in the UK, with many bands citing them as an influence.
There has been no attempt to re-unite the band after relations were permanently severed following a royalties dispute in 1989.
The closest the band has come to re-uniting has been two one-off gigs in 2006 and 2014 with guitarist Johnny Marr joining bassist Andy Rourke on stage with their respective solo bands.
