JOIN Mouse on a daring adventure through the deep, dark wood as he arrives in Barrow.

The Gruffalo is a Tall Stories’ adaptation of the classic picture book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler.

The show is billed as: “Searching for hazelnuts, Mouse meets the cunning Fox, the eccentric old Owl and the high-spirited Snake.

“Will the story of the terrifying Gruffalo save Mouse from ending up as dinner for these hungry woodland creatures? After all, there’s no such thing as a Gruffalo – is there?”

The production promises songs, laughs and monstrous fun for children aged three and up and their accompanying grown-ups.

The Gruffalo will be performed at The Forum on June 28 at 1.30pm and 4.30pm, and on June 29 at 10.30am and 1.30pm.

The show is expected to run for 55 minutes with no interval.

Tickets to the show cost £13 plus a booking fee, or £46 plus a booking fee for a family ticket.

School group discounts are also available for the production.
