SUPPORTERS have the chance to win a one-off shirt signed by Barrow Raiders stars past and present, in a special raffle raising money for St Mary’s Hospice.

The shirt has been autographed by last year’s League 1 title-winning team and the current 2022 first-team squad.

Furthermore, the signatures of over 100 past players, many of whom have played a significant part in the Raiders’ history, also adorn the special jersey. The list of players starts from the 1960s and continues to the present day.

The aim of the raffle is to raise funds for St Mary’s Hospice, with the idea coming from ex-players Phil Atkinson and Graeme Petcher, whose close friend was nursed in the Hospice 18 months ago.

Their friend Gareth Nicholson was an avid sports fan and a regular at the ground with his family.

All proceeds raised in Gareth’s name will be presented to the Hospice. Raffle tickets can be bought via http://www.barrowrlfc.com/events/.

Tickets cost just £4, and the draw is set to be made in the Raiders Marquee, sponsored by Barrow Eats, following the conclusion of our Betfred Championship clash with Widnes Vikings on Sunday 5 June.
