WE'VE been reporting on the cost of living crisis since the beginning of the year when fears over fuel prices and food prices were starting to gather pace.

From foodbanks seeing a rise in the number of people in work forced to ask to help from reaction from our political leaders, our coverage has touched on the issues and got to the heart of many of the issues.

This week we launched Your Money Matters - our campaign to help you overcome the surge in the cost of living.

At The Mail we’re making it our mission to look out for your cash, offering money-saving deals, competitions, giveaways and insightful stories from your community on the impact this cost of living crisis is having on our readers like you.

We asked our readers what their biggest concerns were over the cost of living crisis.

Here's just some of the comments you've left us:

1. There should be more help out there for people on a low income as I am worried I can’t get to work because I don’t have any money in my bank right now. It's just awful’.

2. That people I love who are older spend every day worrying about boiling a kettle or keeping warm. It’s just awful.

3. Last week I put £120  on my gas and electricity it's costing more to watch TV and keep warm than it is for the weekly shop

4. The price of fuel and if to put the heating on or not.

5. Ordinary working-class people and benefit claimants are going to suffer financial hardship more than ever before.

6. All fuel, gas, electric and petrol prices rising.

7. Gas, electric and food prices are now on a par with a mortgage.

8. I have two kids on the school bus out of catchment, I have already been informed it will go up around £180 to £200 a month now from September. I currently pay £120. Probably gonna mean I stop paying my pension for a few months/years now.
