A South Lakeland drinking establishment has been handed a new three-out-of-five food hygiene rating.
Ambleside Tavern, a pub, bar or nightclub at Compston Road, Ambleside was given the score after assessment on March 10, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.
It means that of South Lakeland's 185 pubs, bars and nightclubs with ratings, 138 (75%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
