Roose Pioneers take on local rivals Hindpool at Redwaters in division two of the North West Mens League. 

Pioneers aim to get back to winning ways following their 46-12 defeat at Cadishead last week while the Tigers also are looking to go one better after their 54-18 loss at Salford Roosters.

Pioneers are strengthened by the return of Ade White, Dan Sharp Nial Miller and Craig Deakin.

The Tigers delay naming their 17, but ruled out are Grant Burns, Cameron McDermott, Ryan Smith, and Aiden Wilkinson.

At Dragley Beck Ulverston are also looking to get back on track when they take on Dalton a team that are buzzing following their 38-0 win at Bury Broncos.

At the time of going to press, John Stephenson the Ulverston Coach was keeping his selections under wraps.

Daltons Coach Paul Armstrong also delays naming his final 17 but ruled out are Ioan Hayes,Jack Gedling, Pat Kelly and Harri Brown.

Askam take on Chorley Panthers at Fallowfield Park and are unchanged from last week when they went down 30-20 at Folly Lane.

Walney’s home fixture with Wigan Springview has been called off.

In the National conference second division Barrow Island travel to Woolston minus Blain Marwood and Noah Robinson along with Carl and Josh McBain. However, on the plus side Ben Garner and Shane Sanderson return.

In division three, Millom are home to Eastmoor and go into action without Robbie Pattinson while late tests await Nial Harris Dan Hartley and Jordan Moyes (all ankle injuries).
