AMATEUR rugby league returns this weekend with four ties in the prestigious Barton Townley cup, all games kicking off at 2pm.

Barrow Island the holders take on Hindpool Tigers at Brisbane Park with both teams having new Coaches on board.

Andy Thompson is in charge for the Tigers who are missing retired pair Jamie McIlroy and Adam Martin while the two Connors-Goodings and McDermott are injured.

At Devonshire Road, Millom take on old rivals Askam without the Kelly brothers Dane and Adam along with Astin Mossop who are injured.

Youngsters Ethan Stewart and Will Singleton could make their senior debuts.

In the Askam camp, back in the fold is Jack Cairns while Rob Cockayne and Brad Jackson are doubtful.

Dalton are host’s to Walney Central having lost Jack Stevenson to Ulverston while Elliott Bibby returns to Walney.

Nathan Park is out with a broken foot, also missing due to university duties is International Elliott Stockdale.

Walney welcome back former Barrow player Andy Litherland and the Elliott boys Matty and Mike, also in contention is Leon Dack.
