BARROW AFC football club is delighted to announce health and wellbeing partnership with gym.

Nuffield are healthcare specialists who have been operating for over six decades and boast an industry-leading network of 37 hospitals, 114 fitness and wellbeing centres, medical centres and workplace wellbeing facilities.

The Barrow AFC Bluebirds have now agreed an exciting partnership with the charity which will see the first team players and staff given access to state-of-the-art facilities in Barrow to work on fitness, rehabilitation, and wellbeing.

Barrow’s General Manager, Alisha Henry said: “We’re really happy to be linking-up with such a prominent organisation within the area to help promote health and wellbeing within our squad.

“Mark Hetherington and Rob Graham have been working hard behind the scenes to get this deal over the line and it’s fantastic to see that me to fruition.

“Now we’ve announced it, we can work closely with Nuffield Health and to ensure our players and staff can benefit from their fantastic specialist facilities.”

The partnership will see Nuffield Health feature on perimeter boards at The Dunes Hotel Stadium, in our popular Matchday Programme and across our social media channels.

Plus, Bluebirds season ticket holders will benefit directly from the deal too with a massive 40 per cent discount on memberships at Nuffield’s impressive facility in Hollywood Park.
