A PENRITH school has partially closed due to an outbreak of coronavirus in one of the classes.
Class 2 at Morland Area Primary School closed from 9am today and will remain closed until next Monday.
A Cumbria County council spokesman said: “The school class will not be in attendance in the school for a week.
“Only Class 2 is affected and this is as a result of an outbreak of Covid-19 in this class.”
It is understood that the rest of the school remains open to pupils.
