A COMMUNITY Foundation has been rewarded funding.
The Barrow Raiders Community Foundation have been awarded £10,000 from the National Lottery Community fund.
The funding will go towards the foundations stepping stones project.
On social media, Barrow Raiders said: " Barrow Raiders Community Foundation have been awarded £10,000 from the The National Lottery Community Fund for our Stepping Stones Project, which offers young people varied opportunities to be active and healthy, and, with our support, to make the transition to local sports clubs to help increase participation levels.
"Look out for weekly opportunities in Rugby, Dodgeball, Athletics and more, with the support to join a club and take your sporting journey further.
"Thank you!"
