A MOTORIST convicted of drug driving has been given a hefty ban.
Adam Pay was found to have driven with cannabis in his system in Barrow on October 11.
The 34-year-old was convicted of possessing cannabis on the same day.
South Cumbria Magistrates' Court heard he also drove without the appropriate licence and without insurance.
Pleading guilty, Pay, of Holborn Hill, Millom, was told to complete a 10-week 7pm to 7am curfew under the terms of a community order.
He was banned from holding a driving licence for three years by the court.
