PLANS to change the use of a guest house into two holiday lets have been approved by the Lake District National Park Authority.
The Windermere site received no objections upon application.
A report said: “The application relates to the Melbourne Guest House, Biskey Howe Road, a four-storey property formerly two properties merged into one and used as a guest house. Planning permission is sought to change its use to two holiday letting units.
“No external works would be undertaken to facilitate the change but two doorways at basement and ground floor level, which connected the two former units, would be blocked up."
