A VINTAGE clothing business owner is running her own workshop on teaching people how to style vintage clothing.

Becki Fishwick, owner of Rose Vintage & Retro situated on Dalton Road, Barrow is hosting two workshops where attendees will get the chance to learn the basics about vintage styling, clothing, make up and hair.

The workshops will run on Sunday, January 9 and Sunday, January 23.

The day includes: a hair scarf tutorial with a vintage scarf which attendees also get to keep, vintage make up tutorial - teaching you eyeliner flicks and lipstick tricks with a goody bag containing products we use for you to keep, a £5 voucher to use in the shop on the day and Becki, who will be on hand to give you a VIP shopping experience as well as a vintage tea party with cakes and music to enjoy all from the by gone era

Owner Becki said: "Come alone or bring a friend, either way it will be a welcoming, safe environment for like minding vintage enthusiasts!

"I can’t wait to host the first of many workshops to style yourself vintage. I’ve put on two dates for this one and you can book now.

"I have lots more workshops planned including guests from the vintage, and burlesque community!

Becki was the first tenant to open her shop in Barrow BID's pop-up shop in November which is a scheme that enables businesses to try high street retail on a short-term basis before deciding whether to take the plunge and lease or buy a town centre unit.
