A MAN has been ordered to carry out more unpaid work after failing to attend appointments.

Ryan Thomas Fegan failed to attend planned unpaid work appointments on September 21and 28.

The 32-year-old, of James Street in Barrow, was sentenced to 150 hours' unpaid work last year after he assaulted a man at his home.

Appearing at South Cumbria Magistrates' Court, Fegan admitted breaching his community order and was told to carry out an extra 50 hours' work.

He now has 200 hours to carry out.
