A Grange resident is due to stand trial for a drink-driving charge, a court heard.
Martin Langhorn, of Lingarth, appeared at South Cumbria Magistrates’ Court this week where he denied the allegation of driving on the A590 near Lindale Hill with 83 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, exceeding the limit of 35 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath.
The alleged offence dates back to November 11.
The 50-year-old has been remanded on unconditional bail until the trial, which is due to take place at South Cumbria Magistrates’ Court on February 3, 2022.
