A CHRISTMAS Fair and Toy Sale has raised money for a vital service.

Millom Network Centre saw £806.80 raised thanks to the fundraising fair.

A spokesman said that those at the MNC "are overwhelmed and grateful for the support and attendance".

Children who visited the fair also got to meet Santa.

Following the fair, overwhelmed with the support, Millom Network Centre took the decision to return the favour by inviting people to visit them and pick out some toys to help peoples budgets stretch further this Christmas.

Those who would like to choose a free toy can do so by visiting Millom Network Centre at the Unit, up until Thursday.

They are open from 9am-3pm.

Thanks was also given to the Millom Network Centre Trustee and all of those who made the event possible.

A Spokesman said: "Also a huge thank you must go to to our trustee Sarah Sharpe of Sarah's gifts as this was her event in support of MNC, our Fantastic Volunteers who ensured everything went smoothly, also we really must say a massive thank you to our Santa, Darren Sharpe, for his patience and time."
