A TOWN’s rugby club is set to host ‘the biggest’ carol service ever this Christmas.

On Friday, December 17, Barrow Raiders will be holding a carol service where five churches in the area will be joining together to put on a performance for the town to enjoy and sing along as the organisers aim to bring everyone together.

The live choir will be held at the Matt Johnson Prestige Stadium in Barrow from 5pm onwards.

Tickets are not required as it is a free entry event.

A spokesman said: “Come and enjoy the Service and sing along with the town as we bring everyone together!

“Please hit share and help spread the word.

“We would love to fill the Matt Johnson prestige Stadium and get everyone together singing and get some Christmas spirit in the town.”

The organisers are not looking to make masses of money as it’s a community event that is free but there is mulled wines and hot chocolate on offer for attendees to enjoy.

Barrow raiders are also hosting Christmas parties in the marquee area of their stadium which will take place in the last weekend of November and the first two weekends of December.
