MORE than 1,000 tickets have been given away to local children to watch a football match.
Barrow's game against Crawley Town this Saturday might have a younger audience than usual.
The club linked-up up with the community trust to give away tickets to local school children.
The club’s new Operations Manager, Alisha Henry, said: “The take-up has been better than we could ever have hoped.
“We want to encourage more young supporters to come and watch the team in action and it’s been fantastic to be able to work so closely with the Community Trust to help facilitate this."
Barrow will be putting on happy meals in the Fan Zone for youngsters at the game to enjoy, while they've invited their mascot, Bluey, along to join the fun and entertain everyone.
