FANS are asking an injury-prone striker who didn't return from holiday in France to come back.

Barrow AFC boss Mark Cooper said Dimitri Sea had “gone missing” and not returned to the club when expected.

The Bluebirds boss said the injured frontman had returned to France for a short period.

Cooper says the 20-year-old was due back at Holker Street earlier this week - but did not show up.

Cooper said he would further deal with the matter at a later stage, with the AFC squad preparing for Saturday’s goalless League Two game at Carlisle United.

“I’m not wasting any time on players who can’t help us at the minute,” the Barrow managed added.

Trevor Dickinson said: "Go easy on him, he's only a kid and let's face it he could be having major problems and just maybe he's trying to get some help.

"Barrow AFC need to embrace this situation and help Dimi, they must not track him down just to make an example of him.

"Being away from home is never easy, it can feel awful, I know, been their got the Tshirt.

"I for one wish Dimi well."

"There is nothing worse than giving your all then to be overlooked. Look at Fergie - some players needed the hairdryer treatment some needed an arm round them.

"When someone speaks to you and they dig you out of a hole your adrenaline comes back and you would burst a gut for them.

"This is a learning curve for Dimi as well as his manager."

wonderwinger replied: "Dead right, and he hasn't had a fair go yet. This lad can cause havoc in most defences.

"Come on back Dimitri you'll have a huge following when you're a regular. Come on back - it can be sorted mon ami."
