RULES are being changed licences in wake of the driver shortages affecting Britain.
On 16 September it was announced that rules about learning to drive a lorry were to change later in 2021.
The changes affect:

Subject to Parliamentary processes, both changes will be introduced on Monday 15 November 2021.
There will also be new rules about towing a trailer or caravan with a car later in 2021.
The new rules will mean that people who passed their car driving test from 1 January 1997 will be allowed to tow trailers up to 3,500kg maximum authorised mass (MAM).
Subject to Parliamentary processes, this change will be introduced on Monday 15 November 2021.
There will be holding a series of webinars for vocational trainers in October and November to update you on:

- B+E changes being introduced
- B+E accreditation scheme

- Skills boot camp (DfE)
