SUPERMARKETS including Morrisons and Asda have issued recalls on various different food items.
Consumers are being warned not to eat the items included in the notice
A food recall is issued when there is a discovery made about a certain product or food item that is deemed unsafe for the consumer. The latest recalls come from supermarkets including Morrisons and Asda.
The supermarket giant is recalling its Morrisons Milk Chocolate Amour Ice Creams in a three pack, 120ml due to risks the product may contain plastic.
It said: “Morrisons is recalling this product date code FEB 2023 because there is a risk that some packs may contain pieces of plastic.
“Please do not eat this product and return it to your nearest store for a full refund. We don’t need a receipt."
Supermarket giant Asda has also issued a recall for a ready meal on its website as well as on the FSA website.
The retailer is recalling its Extra Special Lamb Moussaka due to there being undeclared egg in the product.

Asda also issued an apology to customers for the inconvenience caused.
