A MAN from Ulverston is due to appear in court charged with driving when the alcohol registered on his breath was more than twice the prescribed limit.
It is alleged Theodore Dixon, of Steel Street, drove a Volkswagen Caddy in Ulverston when he had 87 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The drink-drive limit is 35 micrograms.
It is said the offence took place in North Lonsdale Road.
The alleged offence took place on Sunday, September 19, 2021.
Dixon, 25, is due to appear at South Cumbria Magistrates' Court in Barrow's Abbey Road on Tuesday, October 5.
