TRIAL: South Cumbria Magistrates' Court
AN Ulverston man is due to appear in court to try and avoid a driving disqualification.
Stephen Oldcorn, of Sunderland Terrace, is alleged to have driven 67 mph in a 50 mph zone in Grantham, Lincolnshire on February 4 on the A1 Trunk Road, South Cumbria Magistrates' Court heard.
The last hearing was adjourned from July 15 at request of the 41-year-old to consider if there are mitigating circumstances (including exceptional hardship) for not ordering disqualification.
He will appear in court tomorrow morning.
