'We are totally flabbergasted'-School receives 'generous' anonymous donation
SCHOOL staff have said they are ‘flabbergasted’ after receiving an anonymous donation for the school's sports court appeal.
Cartmel Priory C of E revealed its multi-sports court appeal now stands at almost £68,000 and is now £30,000 away from reaching its target.
A spokesman said: “We have received a very generous anonymous donation from a local business.
“The total collected so far now stands at a massive £67,845.48! We are totally flabbergasted at the generosity and support from the local community.
“We still need to raise approximately £30,000 to reach our target. If you know anybody else that could support us please contact the school.“
