AN ANNUAL celebration of all things apple will take place next month.
Apple Day is returning to Ford Park in Ulverston on October 2, running from 11am-4pm.
A Ford Park spokesman said: "There will be family activities, crafts, children's games, stalls, food and drink, a car boot and not forgetting, apple pressing.
"If you wish to bring apples to press, please do not bring more than a single batch size of 20kg.
"Admission is free, although donations to Ford Park Community Group can be made at the entrance.
"We hope many of you can join us to celebrate this popular day in Ford Park's fundraising calendar!"
To have a stall at the car boot sale, people are asked to arrive at the park before 8.15am or after 10am on the morning of Apple Day, where they will be allocated a space for their vehicle.
The car boot cost is £5 per vehicle, payable on the day.
