LADIES whose combined ages total 302 years, rode the 11 - mile 25th Anniversary Tour de Furness route in the charity fundraiser organised by the Rotary Club of Furness.
Barrow Inner Wheel Presidents Pam Dilks and Elaine Parker, Club Correspondent Jane Smith and their friend Val McKinley were blessed with glorious sunshine and gentle breezes along the route.
Jane Smith, of Barrow Inner Wheel, said: "The beautiful scenery was a bonus which added to the enjoyment of the ride.
"After the restrictions of lockdown, it felt good to be out in the countryside with good friends and to be raising funds for good causes at the same time.
"Up to now, we have raised around £500, with still more to come.
"We are very grateful to all those who have sponsored us. Thanks go to the Rotary Club of Furness for organising a superb event - the bacon buns weren't bad, either."
