SCORED: Mabel’s Bakery in Askam has been rated
A BAKERY has been scored a one in its latest food hygiene inspection.
Mabel's Bakery in Duke Street, Askam underwent a hygiene inspection August 4.
The bakery received a score of one after it was visited by inspectors from Barrow Borough Council.
The site was given a report from inspectors, receiving a 'good' for its hygienic food handling, a 'generally satisfactory' for its cleanliness and condition of the facilities and the building and 'major improvement necessary' for the management of food safety.
