POLICE in Cartmel have continued to patrol the area in order to tackle antisocial behaviour.
Cumbria Constabulary were busy with the Cartmel Race meet last month but stated that there was good behaviour from race-goers.
A spokesman said: "We have been carrying out patrols tackling antisocial behaviour in the Grange and Flookburgh areas, particularly in the evenings.
"Cartmel Races again welcomed an influx of well-behaved race-goers safely visiting the area. It is good to see events rescheduled for the rest of the year in the South Lakes area after such a long time without them. We would urge everyone to continue enjoy such events responsibly.
"The community team will be starting drop-in sessions again. Dates, times and locations will be announced shortly."
