Police on hand at train station following weekend racing event
THE British Transport Police were on hand to ensure race goers got home in a safe manner yesterday.
BTP were at Cark Station following the bank holiday event at Cartmel Races this weekend.
BTP Lancashire said: "Officers have been at Cark Station for Cartmel Races.
"Joint working with the four Northern staff here.
"All trains on time and a steady flow of passengers on their way home."
