PARENTS and carers of children who are struggling with challenging behaviour, sensory or sleep issues, are invited to a day of practical workshops.
Event organisers said: "Join us for a day of positive, practical workshops full of proven strategies that can make a positive difference for any child living with challenging behaviour, sensory or sleep issues.
"The day will consist of workshops given by trained professionals who are also parent carers of children living with additional needs who understand how life can be."
The speakers will include Debbie Austin, a positive behaviour support specialist, Hanna Munro, a sensory integration specialist occupational therapist, and Amanda Bland, a sleep practitioner and trainer.
There will also be organisations such as the Learning Disability Team, Youth Support, and more.
Refreshments on the day will be provided by the Stitch Ability Project.
The event will take place at Walney Community Centre on September 21.
The event will last from 9.30am-3.30pm.
