A RENOVATED church building is the most extravagant property available on Airbnb in Cumbria.
The All Saints Room, which has six bedrooms, a spa and a bar, can be rented for £1,500 a night.
The site was also the former home of a grammar school attended by Lake poet William Wordsworth.
A listing on the holiday let site described it as: "An impeccably renovated listed church hall resting in the country town of Cockermouth, All Saints Room boasts luxury in excess within the rustic stone walls of the place where William Wordsworth went to school.
"Featuring glamorous chandeliers hanging from the rafters of the grand entertainment hall, a state of the art spa room in the crypt, and smart TVs within each opulent bedroom suite, All Saints Room exceeds any and all expectations for a party of up to 18 guests."
The building was previously owned by All Saints' Church and sold to raise vital funds.
Jerry Huppert, of Manchester, and his business partner David Salzman paid £158,000 for the building at auction in October 2018.
