GOLFERS from the Furness area are being invited ‘to tee’ by Barrow Raiders skipper Jarrad Stack as part of the player’s testimonial season.
The event is being held at Dunnerholme Golf Club, Askam on Friday September 10 with a 2pm shotgun start for teams of four.
The event is celebrating his 10 years in the British game of rugby league.
Entry fee is £20 per player and includes a round of golf and pie-and-peas refreshments afterwards .
The teams are expected to include several well-known rugby names but there are still a few vacancies in the line-ups and anybody interested can contact the testimonial committee member Joe McKenna on 07892 690454.
Australian Stack has played 85 times for the Raiders, joining the club in 2019 after an eight-year spell with Workington Town.
He has currently scored 27 tries for Barrow at the time of writing.
Jarrad has been one of our stand out performers since his move down the coast from Workington Town and is a model of consistency.
After he signed a two-year-deal back in September 9, 2020 the club were delighted and hoped it would help them in their ambitions to gain promotion.
Following his resigning last year, Barrow Raiders said: "This is a further boost to the club’s promotion ambitions as we look to tie up the majority of the squad for longer."
