Roadworks
A ROAD closure has been put in place to allow BT to carry out urgent repairs throughout Millom.
Starting on August 18, a section of Corney Fell Road will be closed for a period not exceeding five days.
The works are taking place at the Duddon Bridge junction.
It is expected that the works will take two days to complete.
A way for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times.
There will be a suitable, alternative route for vehicles signed and available via the unrestricted sections.
