BARROW Raiders welcome back a host of players who missed out on last week’s 40-10 win over Hunslet for their trip to North Wales Crusaders.

Key half back Jamie Dallimore is joined by forwards Adam Walne, Callum Bustin, Ryan Duffy and flying winger Shane Toal.

Carl McBain, Ryan Shaw and Sam Dowsett are taking a rest this week while Brad Crellin is out with concussion. Forward Connor Terrill has gone out on loan to Coventry.

Coach Paul Crarey is pleased to have those players back on board for what will be a tough encounter in North Wales, a team that lye fourth in the table.

The Barrow boss said “It's going to be a hard game for us, Wales are going well at the moment and are pushing for a playoff spot.

"They have won four on the bounce and are a team in form.

"Last week they had a good 32-10 win at Coventry who gave us a tough game two weeks previous.

"We have players back after last week’s disruption and competition for places is hotting up with players coming back.

"They have a good spine and have ex Barrow players in their side- Karl Ashurst and Brad Brennan plus a trimmed down Ethan Kelly (Millom amateur).

"We have to win every game from now in to make sure we go up as Champions especially with the league positions being decided by percentage of games played and won brought about due to some games that were called off and may not be played due to Covid.”

Crarey will be keeping a keen eye on Workington who are the main challengers for top spot a position Barrow have held throughout the season.

He will go with an extra pivot on the bench against a team Coached by former Barrow player and coach Anthony Murray.

On the plus side if Town topple Barrow for top spot the Raiders will have home advantage in the playoffs.

Three years ago, Barrow went up to the Championship through the play offs seeing off the challenge of Whitehaven before a crowd of over 3,000 at Craven Park.
