A REFURBISHMENT at Haverigg Park has been completed and it is now open to the public again, Millom Town Council has confirmed.
The council said in June the children’s play park would be receiving a revamp - and it has now revealed there are more plans for the area.
A Millom Town Council spokesman said: “We are delighted to announce that Haverigg Park is now open again following its mini refurbishment.
“Thank you to everyone for your patience while the park was closed and a special thanks to all the volunteers who helped with the weeding and spreading out the bark chippings, especially Skip Pattinson and Simon Donnelly.
“This is just an interim refresh and we do hope to be able to undertake a more extensive redevelopment of the park in the near future.”
