A MAN from Walney, accused of sending offensive messages to Barrow MP Simon Fell, is due to appear in court today.
David Carradus, of Ramsgate Street, has been charged with sending offensive communications after allegedly contacting Simon Fell an electronic communication, namely emails of an indecent or grossly offensive nature for the purpose of causing distress or anxiety between May 31 and June 11.
The 42-year-old is due to appear at South Cumbria Magistrates' Court this afternoon to give a plea to this charge.
