PHONES: Communication breakdown warned of in Barrow
CUMBRIA Police have pre-warned the public of possible breakdowns in communications this evening in Barrow.
The Police wrote on social media: "We’re aware of an on-going fault on the BT phone network which may be impacting people’s ability to make phone calls in parts of Barrow this evening.
"If you find your home phone is experiencing such a fault, please use a mobile phone in an emergency if needing to contact us or any other emergency service.
"Thank you."
